What is Salesforce CRM?

                    Salesforce is a cloud based CRM software.It comes under the SaaS category of cloud computing.Users can have access to salesforce via internet.Data stored in Salesforce is safe and secure.We can achieve effective ways to collaborate with people you do business with.It provides with lots of standard functionality and comes with standard applications and features that are almost used everywhere in a business.No wonder that this is the world's No 1 CRM.


Understanding Salesforce Architecture.

            Salesforce is a multi tenant architecture.What does multi tenant means? It is nothing but multiple users share a common IT resources such as servers,storage,networks effectively and securely.
            
                    
              
   

                Force.com is a the foundation for all the services provided in salesforce.com.Force.com is all about metadata.Metadata is the data about data.It stores information about how the data should be represented.Whenever an object or field is created no table is created it gets stored in a set of metadata.A database table is only created when we save a record.

                The standard and the custom applications build on top of the platform has the same consistent and powerful functionality.

                 As the technology is evolving,Salesforce users have their own data scientist Einstein.Einstein provides Artificial intelligence for the CRM.

          Salesforce has the lightning framework for development.
